So, here's some good stuff...

Basically, heres a couple pictures of 25mm guys in various stages of action...

As you can see, there are four (actually five) units in the foreground and middle ground in this picture.

The unit right in the middle is in "column" formation, and therefore can move some 6 inches per turn.

The unit just to the right of that unit is in "line" formation, and therefore may move 4 inches per turn. The unit just below the column unit is in "extended line" formation, and may only move 2 inches per turn. Likewise with the unit in the square formation.

The other unit is a skirmish unit, and it may move 8 inches in any direction. Units in "Extended Line" formation may not change facing.

In this next picture you can see some of the cards that I use in order to play this game. Each card has a big number, which is the corresponding 2d6 roll. Each card also tells you how many men die if a certain number of men are shooting and this card is drawn for casualties. Also, the cards have activation numbers that tell you how many units you can "activate" in a turn if you draw that card.

Look for this card mechanic to be in future games. I really like it because it is much faster than rolling a dice and consulting a chart.

Here is a picture of a battle that is going on right now in my basement... The trees are a step up from using pipe cleaners, and the hills are just shaped styrofoam. I'm thinking about upgrading my hill-making materials to the pink stuff that other wargamers use. I've also been thinking about upgrading my table to a 6' by 5' table. Tell me what you think...
